Samsung plans to introduce the optical clear resin (OCR) laminating material into the OLED module production line of smart phones this year, hoping to reduce the production cost of the process.  The function of liquid transparent optical glue is mainly used as a special adhesive for bonding transparent optical elements. The liquid transparent optical glue can fully fit the gap between the touch panel and the glass protective layer, so that the two layers of the board are completely closed, without any gap and air layer, so that the backlight of the display panel can penetrate the glass surface more smoothly, and will not be affected by the external light and backlight, resulting in light scattering Fold up.  The liquid transparent optical adhesive cured by UV irradiation has similar refractive index and transmittance to glass, yellowing resistance, softness, and can withstand the expansion and contraction rate of a variety of different substrates, so that it can resist the problems caused by the harsh environment of high and low temperature changes during bonding, and make the display show stable performance of high brightness and high quality.  Chen Longjian, professor and Dean of the Department of optoelectronics, Taipei University of science and technology, believes that compared with the process steps of solid transparent optical adhesive and liquid transparent optical adhesive, liquid transparent optical adhesive is relatively complex, which must be high-precision, uniform and bubble free, and can seamlessly combine the folding OLED panel and the glass protective layer, so that it has the opportunity to become the material selection scheme of the folding OLED panel.
