The liquid transparent optical adhesive cured by UV irradiation has similar refractive index and transmittance to glass, yellowing resistance, softness, and can withstand the expansion and contraction rate of a variety of different substrates, so that it can resist the problems caused by the harsh environment of high and low temperature changes during bonding, and make the display show stable performance of high brightness and high quality. Chen Longjian, professor and Dean of the Department of optoelectronics, Taipei University of science and technology, believes that compared with the process steps of solid transparent optical adhesive and liquid transparent optical adhesive, liquid transparent optical adhesive is relatively complex, which must be high-precision, uniform and bubble free, and can seamlessly combine the folding OLED panel and the glass protective layer, so that it has the opportunity to become the material selection scheme of the folding OLED panel.
