Samsung signs contract with equipment manufacturer, and qd-oled production line investment accelerates

Samsung display company announced on October 10 this year that it will invest 13.1 trillion won (77.9 billion yuan) to build 8.5 generation qd-oled production line in Yashan factory by 2025. 
A representative of Samsung display company said: "the new production line (Q1) will be put into production in 2021, with an initial monthly production capacity of 30000 glass substrates, and will produce qd-oled of 65 inch or larger size. In the future, Samsung display company will gradually increase its production capacity.
Samsung display company will invest 10 trillion won in qd-oled production line investment and another 3.1 trillion won in R & D of next generation display technology.  Wonik IPS announced the signing of a 66.7 billion won display manufacturing equipment supply agreement with Samsung display company on the same day. Equivalent to 10.41% of the company's annual sales last year. In addition, park systems signed a Korean won 1.75 billion supply agreement for atomic microscope equipment.  According to the announcement, the agreement between Samsung display company and equipment company will be completed in August next year. After that, the production line will be assembled and tested stably.
