Specifically, in the chip segment, the size of Mini LED chip is significantly smaller, so the wavelength consistency and thickness uniformity are required to improve, and the yield control is difficult to improve. In the packaging part, the chip size is reduced, the cutting part is required to be improved, the lamp bead size is reduced accordingly, and the transition to the new process such as four-in-one or COB increases the difficulty; In the process of integration, manufacturers need to fix thousands of Mini LED chips to PCB substrate or glass substrate. The technical difficulty of Mini LED in chip size, packaging technology and module integration is not low. In addition, the backlight module of Mini LED is usually made on PCB board. Due to the large variety and small quantity of Mini LED at the initial stage, PCB cost is usually expensive.

The technical difficulties of installing Mini LED on the glass substrate are reflected in the substrate production process and SMT batting process. In order to ensure a good welding effect, TCL CSOT adjusted the production process sequence of the substrate and optimized the manufacturing process, so as to solve the problem of easy oxidation of Cu and ensure that other characteristics of the adjusted substrate would not be affected. However, in SMT process, TCL CSOT solved the abnormal problem by repeatedly adjusting the size of steel mesh and the tin content.
