OPPO future science and technology conference: master the core technology, in order to accumulate

On December 10, OPPO held the "OPPO future technology conference" with the theme of "fusion · no boundaries" in shenzhen. At the same time, OPPO Chen mingyong also mentioned at the conference: "OPPO is not a mobile phone company. Smart phones are only the carrier of OPPO service users. The future is not only OPPO, the whole industry will not have a pure sense of mobile phone companies.

OPPO will also invest more in research and development, focus on core technology innovation, and put forward three new initiatives. "In the next three years, OPPO will spend 50 billion yuan on research and development," Chen said. "besides focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, AR and big data, OPPO will also need to build underlying hardware core technologies and software engineering system capabilities."

In addition, OPPO will also build a multi-entrance smart terminal ecosystem, which will bring smartwatches, smart screens and even smart robot products on the basis of smart phones to provide services for users in different scenarios. OPPO's IoT strategy is also based on the concept of "focusing on the core entrance and establishing an open ecology". While focusing on the core terminals frequently used by users, OPPO will open its protocols and connections to the public with an open strategy and self-adoption, and work with more developers and industry partners to build a new 5G interoperability ecology.

According to OPPO, 5G will be a great opportunity to deepen customer service. At present, OPPO has established a comprehensive service system with application ecology, content ecology, smart service and fintech as the core.
