Corning and Mianyang signed investment agreement for Corning Glass Substrate project, supporting Huike 8.6 generation project

On April 29, the signing ceremony of Mianyang Huike supporting project was held in fuleshan Hotel, attended by more than 50 well-known enterprises. 
At the signing ceremony, Deng Hui, deputy secretary of CPC Fucheng District Committee and district chief of Fucheng District People's Government of Mianyang City, signed the investment agreement for Corning Glass Substrate project with Corning Singapore Holdings Co., Ltd. and the investment agreement for Shitang airport project in Fucheng District of Mianyang City with Sichuan real estate development and Investment Co., Ltd.  Kangning company will invest in the construction of a glass substrate rear section processing plant in Lingang Economic Development Zone, Fucheng District, Mianyang City. This project has filled in the blank of the upstream supporting key links of the new display industry, and will also inject a strong impetus to accelerate the construction of a good ecology of the new display industry in the city and expand the electronic information industry cluster.  The Shitang airport project in Fucheng District of Mianyang City is invested and constructed by Chuanfang group, with a total planned investment of about 6 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it will provide important production and living supporting services for Mianyang Huike project and Port Economic Development Zone, meet various production and living supporting needs in the area, and become an important window for Fucheng District to display its image externally.    After the signing ceremony, the people's Government of Fucheng District, Mianyang Economic Cooperation Bureau and Mianyang Huike Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. jointly held the investment promotion meeting of Mianyang Huike supporting project. At the meeting, relevant leaders of Fucheng District introduced the investment environment of Fucheng District to the invited enterprises.
